Perovskite solar cell stability

Hybrid perovskite solar cells are exciting technologies due to their solution-processability and outstanding electronic properties. However, they exhibit thermomechanical and chemical instabilities that greatly inhibit their commercial viability.  We are interested in addressing these challenges through a variety of methods including interfacial engineering and compositing.

Organic electronics for wearable applications

Organic electronics are of particular interest because of their low-cost, chemical tunability, and mechanical properties amenable to flexible/stretchable applications. We are interested in studying the behavior at the interfaces of these materials while they are under strain. Elucidating the role of strain on the properties of these materials has significant value in the field of wearable electronics.
